My long awaited arrival to Prague has finally arrived! It has so far been wonderful but equally exhausting because of the time change and just overall lack of sleep I have. There is nothing to share as of now, so far we’ve been exploring around where we’re living (Prague 7 in Korunovacni), eating some good food and drinking some “good” beer, which hopefully I will learn to like because right now I HATE it. Yesterday after the settling in we went to:
La casa trattoria Zizkov (italian)
Pub with an underground cool foosball area (sadly didn’t write down name) but cool!
This morning we went to Cruz Panadería and I got a yummy danish. Overall today we’ve been beep bopping around new and old town–going to markets and stores and pubs. We went to the Powder Bridge that welcomed us into old town which was beautiful and Pilsner Urquell, one of the original places that serves Pilsner, (hence the name). We ventured over to the Charles Bridge and got FIRE ramen noodle bowls at Bon right near the apartment. I've also been trying to pick up the language, and so far I've learned hello is ahoy, thanks is dík and thank you is dêkji which is definitely something. Also--you get yelled at if you eat ice cream on the tram but its okay to show "violent" PDA on it according to our advisors? How sweet! It’s been excellent! We’re going somewhere later but overall awesome things are in store! YAY!
